Neighborhood Walkthrough:

We walk through your neighborhood with you, showing you the places you’ll use regularly. Where’s the closest grocery store? Which pharmacy is open late? Where do you pick up packages? We give you a practical tour focused on your daily life, not tourist attractions.

Essential Locations:

We show you the grocery stores (Billa, Spar, Hofer—and what the differences are), the pharmacy, post office, ATMs, and other services you’ll need immediately. You’ll know where everything is and how things work before you need them.

Public Transport Setup:

Vienna’s public transport is excellent once you understand it. We show you how to use the U-Bahn, Straßenbahn, and buses, help you set up your transport card (Jahreskarte or monthly pass), and teach you how to use ticket machines and apps like Qando. By the end, you’ll be navigating Vienna’s transport system confidently.

Settling in support

Icon 1
Meldezettel Registration
Within three days of moving in, you must register your residence (Meldezettel) at the local registration office. We coordinate this process, accompany you if needed, ensure you have the correct documentation, and make sure your registration is completed properly.
Icon 2
Bank Account Setup
Opening an Austrian bank account requires navigating German paperwork and understanding local banking culture. We guide you to the right bank for your needs, help with documentation, and coordinate the account opening process so you have local banking access quickly.
Icon 3
Mobile Phone Contract
We help you choose an appropriate mobile provider (A1, Magenta, Drei), explain contract options versus prepaid, and assist with signing up. You’ll have an Austrian phone number and data plan that works for your needs without overpaying.
Icon 4
Internet Setup
We coordinate internet installation for your apartment, recommend reliable providers, and help you understand contract terms. Internet setup in Vienna can take several weeks, so we start this process early to minimize downtime.

Why this matters

The first few weeks in Vienna can feel overwhelming. Public transport seems confusing, stores close at unexpected times, and every form is in German. Without guidance, it takes months to figure out what locals already know. We compress that learning curve into your first week, so you feel oriented and capable instead of lost and frustrated.

We also offer healthcare setup and school consultation services. Ask about comprehensive support options during your consultation.
